ORCA partners are pleased to announce the addition of Bluways to the ORCA project. Bluways’ expertise is in optimising energy storage life cycles, performance, stability, and reliability in the scalable design of energy storage units for heavy duty applications.
Bluways will contribute to ORCA by developing a modular and scalable rechargeable storage system.
Bluways has been involved in the commercialization of energy storage systems in different types of heavy-duty hybrid vehicles. Internationally, the company has a solid track record including more than 300 hybrid systems and over 40 million km of fleet operation. In particular, the company has expertise around managing the heavy-duty energy requirements of transit buses and other heavy-duty transport (refuse and crane carrier trucks).
