Cycling and calendar ageing tests are currently being performed at the VUB to characterise the bus prototype battery storage system with relevant State of Charge and State of Health algorithms.
The models are being verified with actual data from the vehicles prototype when available. This aims at having a direct interaction with the testing and validation work to take place at TNO. The models, parameters and data are being aligned to verify the models and enable further validation.
Finally, the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies have also been defined and will lead to a complete assessment of the final prototypes to justify the project results.
